The newly released Unity Pro V4.0 software heightens productivity for programmers and expands functionality  The latest release of award winning Unity Pro, our IEC 61131-3 application development software, is now available and includes enhancements that provide improved performance, functionality and conversion ease that propels both designer's and user's productivity. Enhancements include the following. • New features for all platforms   – Support for Microsoft® Windows Vista Business Edition   – Configuration of time synchronization (NTP) on Ethernet modules   – Capability to access located and unlocated variables in the PLC • New features for Modicon M340 PAC   – Advanced configuration of a new M340 PAC CPU   – Support of the rack extender module (providing multiple rack support for up to four racks)   – Pulse Train Output (PTO) module with a set of function blocks to manage the module: FrequencyGenerator, MoveVelocity, MoveAbsolute, MoveRelative, Homing, and SetPosition • New features for Modicon Premium PLC   – Manages a new EtherNet/IP module (TSXETC100) that passed the ODVA conformance tests and manages the communication with devices that are compliant with CIP protocol   – Motion module CAY 22 supports the flying shear function   – Capability to connect the process simulator SIMAC (Prosyst) to the processor   – Easy, expert configuration and setup of the Modicon Premium PLC Hot Standby system based on the Unity software platform • New features for Modicon Quantum PLC   – Manages a new EtherNet/IP module (140NOC77100) that passed the ODVA conformance tests and manages the communication with devices that are compliant with CIP protocol   – Quantum Hot Stand By configurations no longer require an additional RIO drop when Remote I/Os are on Ethernet or Profibus   – Continued support of Unity Pro – XLS V3.1 programming software to support the Modicon Quantum SIL2 PLC platforms (this will be updated with Unity Pro V4.1) Download/review Unity Pro Software Selection Guide  Download/review Unity Pro Brochure
